SILLI: EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 23 December, 2024.
1. Background & Introduction
These Events Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “ETC”) outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of Users (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Participants”) who register for or attend events organized by Silli (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1) Scope of Events:
a. Silli Events include offline and interactive gatherings such as mixers for Singles, workshops, group activities (referred to as “Squad”), and other social events organised by Silli.
b. By registering for or attending any event (“Silli Events” or “Silli Experiences”), Participants agree to comply with these ETC, as well as the overarching Terms and Conditions of Use and all related referenced documents such as the Privacy Policy, Refunds and Cancellation Policy and Community Guidelines.
2) Binding Agreement:
a. These ETC constitute a legally binding agreement. Participants unable or unwilling to adhere to these conditions must refrain from registering for or attending events.
b. If any provision of these ETC is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
3) Amendments:
a. Silli reserves the right to amend these ETC from time to time. Participants will be notified of significant changes prior to their implementation.
2. Eligibility
1) Age Requirement: Attendance at Silli Experiences is restricted to individuals aged 21 years and above unless stated otherwise in the event-specific details. Original proof of age documentation must be presented upon request.
2) Residency Requirements: Events are currently designed for residents of India. Silli reserves the right to verify the residency of Participants.
3) Profile Verification: Registration for participation in Silli Experiences requires completing a valid profile on our platform. Valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., Aadhaar, Passport, Driver’s License) must be presented at the event. Entry may be denied without the requisite documentation.
4) Single Status Declaration: Certain events may be restricted to individuals who are single. False representation of marital or relationship status may result in removal from the event and disqualification from future Silli Experiences.
5) Security Checks: Participants may be subject to security screenings at entry. This may include bag checks and verification of personal belongings to ensure the safety and integrity of the event.
6) Restricted Individuals: Individuals previously banned from Silli’s platform or events due to policy violations are prohibited from registering for or attending any future events.
7) Fitness to Participate: Certain events may require physical or mental preparedness. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions should consult a physician prior to attending events involving physical activities. Silli reserves the right to deny participation if safety concerns arise.
3. Ticket Sales
1) Finality of Purchase:
a. All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable under any circumstances unless explicitly stated in the event-specific terms.
2) Authorized Sales Channels:
a. Tickets must be purchased exclusively through Silli’s official platforms (website or app). Silli is not responsible for invalid tickets obtained from unauthorized sellers.
3) Ticket Resale:
a. Reselling tickets or attempting to gain unauthorized entry with invalid tickets is prohibited and may result in denial of entry without refund.
4) Confirmation and Receipt:
a. A confirmation email or digital receipt will be issued upon successful payment. Participants must present this confirmation along with valid identification at the event.
5) Early Bird and Promotions:
a. Discounts, promotions, or early bird offers are non-refundable and subject to the terms outlined during the purchase process.
6) Replacement of Lost Tickets:
a. Lost or misplaced tickets will not be reissued. Participants must retain their confirmation details for entry.
4. Prohibited Items and Behaviour
1) Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited at the event venue:
a. Weapons, sharp objects, or anything that can be used to cause harm.
b. Alcoholic beverages unless explicitly permitted in the event details.
c. Illegal substances, narcotics, or unprescribed drugs.
d. Oversized bags, backpacks, or luggage unless authorized.
e. Any other items deemed disruptive, dangerous, or inappropriate by event organizers.
2) Behavioural Expectations:
a. All Participants must behave respectfully towards other attendees, event staff, and organizers. Inappropriate conduct, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, intoxication, or refusal to comply with event rules, may result in removal without refund.
3) Consequences for Violations:
a. Violations of prohibited item rules or behavioral expectations may result in immediate ejection from the event, reporting to authorities if necessary, and prohibition from attending future events.
5. Dress Code and Appearance
1) Mandatory Dress Code:
a. A semi-formal or formal dress code is required for all attendees unless otherwise specified in the event details. Examples include:
A. Men: Indian Formals and Semi Formals, Blazers, Jeans, collared shirts, T-shirts, trousers, and shoes.
B. Women: Indian Formals and Semi formals, Dresses, skirts, blouses, formal pantsuits, and heels or flats.
2) Event-Specific Guidelines:
a. Certain events may have unique dress requirements (e.g., themed events). Participants will be informed in advance and are expected to adhere to these guidelines.
3) Non-Compliance:
a. Participants failing to meet the dress code may be denied entry without refund or compensation.
6. Information, Safety, Liability, Indemnity and Medical Disclosures
1) Event Details:
a. Event descriptions, which may include location, timing, activities, and other specifics, will be shared in advance on the website or via email.
b. Silli reserves the right to modify event details in response to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified of significant changes.
2) Participant Responsibility:
a. Attendees acknowledge that participation in events involves inherent risks. By attending, Participants accept full responsibility for their own safety and well-being.
3) Medical Conditions:
a. Participants are required to disclose any medical conditions or limitations that may affect their participation in physical activities during events. Silli reserves the right to request medical clearance for such Participants.
4) Emergency Protocols:
a. Participants must adhere to all safety instructions provided by event staff and cooperate during emergencies, including evacuations or medical incidents.
5) Liability Waiver:
a. Silli and its affiliates are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless directly caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct by Silli. Attendees participate at their own risk.
b. Silli is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the event, including incidents involving but not limited to third-party vendors and other Participants.
6) Indemnity:
a. Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless Silli, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or losses arising from or in relation to their participation in Silli Experiences or violation of these ETC or any other referenced documents.
7)Insurance:
a. Silli does not provide personal health or travel insurance. Participants are encouraged to arrange their own insurance coverage if deemed necessary.
8) Security Measures:
a. Security personnel may be present at events to ensure safety. Participants must comply with all security procedures, including bag checks and screenings.
7. Media Consent
1) Photography and Videography:
a. By attending the event, Participants consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. These pictures and recordings may be used by Silli for marketing, promotional, and archival purposes without any compensation to Participants.
2) Scope of Use:
a. Media captured during events may be used across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, advertising campaigns, event recaps, and promotional materials.
3) Opt-Out Mechanism:
a. Participants who do not wish to be included in event recordings must notify Silli in writing at least 48 hours before the event. While Silli will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, complete exclusion from event media cannot be guaranteed.
4) Unauthorized Recording:
a. Participants are prohibited from recording or distributing audio, video, or photographs of the event without prior written consent from Silli. Violators may face removal from the event and potential legal action.
b. Photos and recordings from Silli Experiences are the property of Silli. Unauthorized use or reproduction of event media by attendees is prohibited.
8. Force Majeure
1) Definition:
a. Force majeure events include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government-imposed restrictions, strikes, cyberattacks, or any other circumstances beyond Silli’s reasonable control that prevent the fulfillment of event obligations.
2) Impact on Events:
a. In the event of force majeure, Silli reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify affected events without incurring liability to Participants. Participants will be notified of any changes promptly.
3) Refunds and Credits:
a. Refunds or credits for events disrupted due to force majeure will be provided in accordance with the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Alternative options, such as rescheduling, may also be offered.
4) Limitations of Liability:
a. Silli is not liable for any additional costs incurred by Participants due to event changes caused by force majeure, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or personal expenses.
9. Privacy and Data Use
1) Collection of Personal Information:
a. Personal data collected during ticket purchases or event participation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2) Use of Event Data:
a. Silli may use anonymized data for analytics and improving future event offerings.
10. Miscellaneous Provisions
1) Entire Agreement:
a. These ETC, along with the Terms and Conditions of Use and other referenced documents, including but not limited to Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Community Guidelines, represent the entire agreement between Silli and Participants regarding event participation. They supersede all prior agreements, communications, or representations.
2) Severability:
a. If any provision of these ETC is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in full force and effect.
3) Assignment:
a. Participants may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these ETC without prior written consent from Silli. Silli reserves the right to assign or transfer its rights and obligations to an affiliate or third party without restriction.
4) Notices:
a. All notices or communications regarding these ETC should be directed to Silli via the contact information provided below.
5) Independent Contractor Relationship:
a. Silli’s relationship with Participants is that of an independent contractor. These ETC do not create any joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
6) Grievances and Disputes:
a. Any complaints about a Silli Experience must be reported within 48 hours of the event’s start time via email.
b. Disputes arising from participation in Silli Experiences shall be governed by the Dispute Resolution Clause of Silly’s Terms and Conditions.

By registering for or attending any event, Participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Events Terms and Conditions and all other referenced documents.
