COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
SILLI: REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective Date: 23 December, 2024.
1. Purpose and Scope
At Silli, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all users engaging with our platform and attending our events. These Community Guidelines outline the behavioural expectations and responsibilities of our users (“Participants”) to foster respect and positivity both online and during offline events (“Silli Events”).
These guidelines are supplementary to Silli’s Terms and Conditions of Use, Events Terms and Conditions (ETC), and Privacy Policy etc. By using Silli’s platform or participating in any event, you agree to abide by these Community Guidelines.
2. Core Values
1) Respect: Treat others with kindness, empathy, and consideration, both online and offline.
2) Inclusivity: Celebrate diversity and ensure a safe space for everyone, regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or cultural background.
3) Integrity: Be truthful and authentic in your interactions.
4) Safety: Contribute to a secure and harassment-free environment for all.
3. Expected behaviour
1) Respectful Communication:
a. Use language that is polite, inclusive, and free of abusive, discriminatory, or offensive content.
b. Engage in constructive discussions and avoid personal attacks or aggressive behaviour.
2) Adherence to Event Rules:
a. Follow the specific rules outlined for Silli Events, including dress codes, time schedules, and safety instructions.
b. Behave appropriately during events to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all participants.
3) Accountability:
a. Take responsibility for your actions and report any violations of these guidelines to Silli promptly.
4) Content Sharing:
a. Share content (text, photos, or videos) that aligns with Silli’s values and avoids infringing on others’ intellectual property rights.
5) Compliance with Laws:
a. Follow all applicable local, national, and international laws when using the platform or attending events.
4. Prohibited Behavior
1) Harassment and Abuse:
a. Harassment, stalking, bullying, or any form of abuse directed at individuals or groups is strictly prohibited.
b. Sexual harassment, including unwelcome advances or inappropriate comments, will not be tolerated.
2) Hate Speech and Discrimination:
a. Content or actions promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, caste, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics are prohibited.
3) Disruptive Behaviour:
a. Actions that disrupt events, including excessive intoxication, physical altercations, or ignoring staff instructions, are grounds for removal.
4) Fake Profiles and Misrepresentation:
a. Creating fake accounts, impersonating others, or providing false information on the platform is forbidden.
5) Unauthorized Recording and Privacy Violations:
a. Recording or sharing private conversations, images, or videos without explicit consent is prohibited.
1) Spam and Solicitation:
a. Advertising, solicitation, or spamming other users is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by Silli.
5. Content Guidelines
1) Acceptable Content:
a. Content shared on the platform must be respectful, relevant, and free of obscenities or inappropriate material.
1) Prohibited Content:
a. Do not post or share content that contains:
A. Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material.
B. Graphic violence or images promoting harm.
C. False, misleading, or defamatory information.
D. Malware, phishing links, or harmful software.
3) Intellectual Property:
a. Ensure that all content you share is either owned by you or used with appropriate permissions.
4) Event Media:
a. Media captured at Silli Events must comply with the Media Consent section of the ETC and respect the privacy of other attendees.
6. Reporting Violations
1) How to Report:
a. Users can report violations of these Community Guidelines by contacting Silli at [support@silli.in] or using the in-app reporting tool.
2) Investigation Process:
a. All reports are reviewed confidentially by Silli’s team. Appropriate actions, including warnings, suspension, or account termination, will be taken based on the severity of the violation.
3) Protection Against Retaliation:
a. Users reporting violations in good faith are protected against retaliation. Misuse of the reporting system, however, may result in penalties.
7. Consequences of Violations
1) Warnings and Temporary Suspensions:
a. Minor violations may result in warnings or temporary suspensions from the platform or events.
2) Permanent Account Ban:
a. Serious violations, including harassment, hate speech, or repeated offenses, may lead to a permanent ban from Silli’s platform and events.
3) Event Expulsion:
a. Violations occurring during Silli Events may result in immediate removal without refund.
4) Legal Action:
a. In cases of illegal activities, Silli reserves the right to involve law enforcement authorities.
8. Updates to These Guidelines
1) Periodic Updates:
a. Silli may update these Community Guidelines to reflect changes in policies or legal requirements. Participants will be notified of significant updates.
2) User Agreement:
a. Continued use of the platform or participation in events after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
